About time Mr. Obama came out of the closet about his fellow party member..
Mr. Obama made the comment about Mr Weiner as House Democrats prepared to debate Tuesday whether to punish the New York Democrat for his use of social media to send sexually charged messages and lewd photos to women he encountered online.
"I think he’s embarrassed himself, he’s acknowledged that, he’s embarrassed his wife and his family," Mr. Obama said in an interview Monday with NBC News.
"Ultimately there’s going to be a decision for him and his constituents," Mr. Obama continued. "I can tell you that if it was me, I would resign. Because public service is exactly that, it’s a service to the public. And when you get to the point where, because of various personal distractions, you can’t serve as effectively as you need to at the time when people are worrying about jobs and their mortgages and paying the bills, then you should probably step back."

Democratic leaders in the House are calling for Rep. Anthony Weiner to step down Saturday after he admitted he exchanged online messages with a Delaware teenager in the latest development to a sex scandal that has dominated the news for days.
House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California said Weiner has the "recognition that he needs help."
"I urge Congressman Weiner to seek that help without the pressures of being a Member of Congress," she said in a statement.
National party chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said Weiner’s behavior is "indefensible" and his role in Congress is "untenable."
The Florida congresswoman said "this sordid affair has become an unacceptable distraction" for everyone.
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Steve Israel said Weiner’s "inappropriate behavior has become an insurmountable distraction to the House and our work for the American people."
"With a heavy heart, I call on Anthony to resign," he said.
Rep. Chris Van Hollen, the top Democrat on the House Budget Committee, said Weiner’s "repeated violation of the public trust is unacceptable."
"He can best advance the issues he fought for by resigning immediately," he said.
The demands from the Democratic Party hierarchy came one day after Weiner acknowledged that he had exchanged online messages with a Delaware teenager. He said the exchanges involved nothing inappropriate.
His party’s leadership had refrained from demanding a resignation for days after Weiner admitted sending lewd photos and messages and at least one X-rated picture to a handful of women around the country over the past three years and then lying about it.

President Obama will be making the trip down to Florida and North Carolina next week, which are must win states for him, if he even thinks he can win re-election in 2012. Thought you’d like to know that he has already set aside two Presidential 747’s for this trip. Why does he need two for this trip? Your tax dollars well at work… fail.

Vice President Biden declared Thursday that the $787 billion economic stimulus program is playing a major role in lifting the nation’s economy out of the worst financial downturn since the Great Depression.
Offering an assessment of the program 200 days after its enactment, Biden said that the legislation has moved the country from the edge of a financial abyss into what increasingly looks like an economic recovery.

President Obama’s job approval rating is at the lowest point of his presidency – a drop largely caused by erosion in support among the political independents who gave him an electoral landslide, a new poll suggests.
The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey results released yesterday show his overall approval number at 53 percent, down from 76 percent in early February, just after he took office.
He is dropping faster than Bush ever did!

LAS VEGAS – President Barack Obama on Wednesday hailed solar energy as a cost saver for a major Air Force base, one stop on a Western trip devoted to raising political money and promoting his economic policies.
Obama’s aides had mocked reporters for making a fuss over his first 100 days in office, but the president was eager to assess the first 100 days of his $787 billion economic stimulus package.
It has “saved or created nearly 150,000 jobs,” he said, including “jobs building solar panels and wind turbines; making homes and buildings more energy-efficient.”
Maybe I’ll believe it once I see the proof.

To some Republicans, President Barack Obama’s warm greeting of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Friday was much more, just another indication of how Obama is being too friendly to people who would do the United States harm.
Either way, on his second trip abroad this month, Obama’s moves were very much in keeping with what he promised during the presidential campaign — to turn a friendlier face to the world than his predecessor, and to reach out to other nations, whether allies or rivals.
Smart thinking, Obama.

This is a video from Larry Sinclair who was Obama’s limo driver back in 1999.
Any response to that Mr. Obama?
